Pomades come in an array of colors and are especially great for filling in thin and sparse eyebrows. Their creamy consistency makes the application seemingly easy, yet it might be quite tricky to use them. Brow pomades are thick and highly pigmented. It's easy to go overboard and end up with so called Instagram eyebrows. To avoid a harsh cakey look, never apply them by directly dipping the brush into the pot. Instead, scoop a tiny amount of product with an angled brow brush and swipe it across the back of your hand. Start filling in the sparse areas with short gentle strokes imitating individual eyebrow hairs. Lightly outline the top and bottom of your eyebrows, giving more definition to the arches and the tail while leaving the front of the brow much lighter in color. Thoroughly blend with the spoolie through the entire brow and brush the hairs to the side and in a downwards direction for a finished groomed look.
For a more dramatic evening look, add an additional layer of pomade to your eyebrows and don't forget to blend.
